The 'Supertrees' at Gardens by the Bay, Singapore 22 Oct 2016
About this photo
This 101-hectare park, built on reclaimed land, features two energy-efficient conservatories: the Flower Dome and the Cloud Forest. The former's controlled environment replicates the cool-dry climate of Mediterranean regions, while the latter boasts the world's tallest indoor waterfall.
There are also more than a dozen towering 'Supertrees' that offer shade in the day and glittering light displays at night. Two of the 'Supertrees' are connected by the OCBC Skyway, affording views of the sprawling area.
