This young monkey certainly looks pleased with life, smiling as he perches in a tree. Numerous species of monkeys inhabit Cambodia, from the jungle to the temples to the tourist sites. The most famous site they inhabit in Cambodia is Angkor Wat, they can be seen wandering around the ruins in the late afternoon as the air cools, and sleeping in the trees which grow out of the ancient monument. When visiting make sure to be careful of the furry creatures, as cuddly as they look they have been known to steal shiny objects and food from tourists and even bite them! Ouch.
