The Royal Castle Square (Plac Zamkowy w Warszawie) in Warsaw is the site of the city's annual Christmas tree; it lights up the square with hundreds of sparkling fairy lights. The square is a great place for people to meet and offers a great vantage point from which to visit the Old Town. The castle overlooking the square was once home to Polish monarchs.
