Kuala Lumpur's Petronas Twin Towers 12 May 2017
About this photo
The Petronas Twin Towers are among the world's tallest, standing in the centre of Malaysia's Capital, Kuala Lumpur, at 452 metres above ground level. Stunning both day and night, the steel and glass towers are especially mesmerising against a dramatic sky, with clouds rolling in before a storm, as the sky clears and the sun starts to shine following the rain, at sunset when the sky turns orange or as the sun rises, creating a pink glow. See the Petronas Towers in all lights on Insight Guides' Traditional Malaysia and Wild Borneo trip. Guided tours take visitors as far as the Skybridge on levels 41 and 42 and to level 86 for panoramic views of Kuala Lumpur.
