Measuring 1,423m in length, the Third Thai-Laos Friendship Bridge opened in 2011 after two-and-a-half years of construction. There are now four bridges linking Thailand to Laos: the first opened in 1994; the second in 2007 and the fourth in 2013. This location makes for an unusual but breathtaking place to watch the sunrise on a quiet morning.
